In the spring 2023 term, 高级学校 students in Performing 艺术 Chair Dek英格's Acting class had the opportunity to work with local theatre professionals to create a piece of devised theatre. Molly Rice 和 Rusty Thelin, founders 和 co-artistic directors of the RealTime Interventions interactive theatre company, worked with the small class of six students over the term to create five original scenes inspired by the theme of power dynamics. Their work culminated with a private performance of three scenes for a small audience of faculty 和 staff during class on 五月 22, followed by a Q&A.

RealTime Interventions creates theatrical events 和 public experiences that depend upon the immediate nature of real time: events that come to life when people come together. Rice is is a 玩wright, songwriter 和 experience designer whose work has been produced across the country, 和 she was a two-time finalist for the O'Neill National Playwrights Conference. Thelin is a director, producer 和 actor who is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the 艺术 和 Playwrights Horizons 剧院 School 和 has worked with a number of notable theater companies in New York City.
