Contact information is always updated in Veracross, not 学校的信使.
To receive text alerts, your mobile phone number must be in the Mobile Phone field in Veracross.
To turn off alert calls to a phone number shared by family members, preferences must be updated in each person's 学校的信使 account.
You can't add other people's phone numbers to your 学校的信使 account, 比如保姆或祖父母, but we hope to add a feature enabling those types of folks to sign up for SSA alerts soon.

SSA makes every effort to announce weather delays or closures by 6 a.m. 该决定由学院主席作出, taking into account local school districts’ decisions 和 area road conditions. Typically, all four campuses will follow the same procedure on a given day. For families who use public school district buses, please note that your buses follow the schedule of your local school district, not of SSA.
